Internal general view of chassis Compact D2 FST and tube. See this chassis is called "Compact",but it seems not. Lot of ICs and discrete components and all well build toghether. It was very reliable and durable with high quality components and great well made circuitry. The only weak point was the Line + EHT output Transformer wich fails very often.
(If you did replace with a genuine NON original, like HR-diemen transformer will never fail again). (This set has approx, 50000+ hours of running and is still functional, all parts are original exept for the line trafo wich is the above mentioned HR-Diemen).
