THOMSON 29DF45E "SCENIUM" CHASSIS ICC20 INTERNAL VIEW.
The Thomson Chassis ICC20 Is an Advanced digital chassis featuring 100HZ scan rate technology and digital sound processing.
It's higly sophisticated and engineered and it's construction is developed on a 2 panel basis.
- Power panel left side,
- Signal processing panel right side.
It's mainly based on PHILIPS Chipset and ITT/Micronas and an ASIC from THOMSON.
It's full multistandard and the entire signal processing is executed in the digital domain.
The execution seems more a computer instead a television chassis.
Repairing the ICC20 sometimes can be a nightmare anyway main common fault was the Line deflection EHT transformer and the usual dry joint rate and some HV Capacitor in the Line Deflection.
Some CRT TUBE were going out of service sooner than expected.
