The GRUNDIG CHASSIS 29301-114.67 is a modular chassis.
The chassis was allowing to use 2 family of tubes, the 20AX AND THE 30AX SYSTEM TYPES

This model series was intended to parallel phase out the production of the CHASSIS GSC600 and the CHASSIS GSC700
in the middle end of 1979 because these were higly expensive, complex.
Furthemore these models were developed to continue the production of the model design in similar or almost identical way without big differences.
Furthermore these are the last model series using the 20AX CRT TUBE TYPE.
And more these models were even using the 30AX CRT TUBE TYPES with sligltly variants on the CHASSIS.
THIS IS NOT a isolated mains chassis type !
