The chassis 5792X of the NORDMENDE PRESIDENT 58 can be completely extracted from the cabinet toghether with the CRT TUBE to have a extreme service friendly development and construction state of the art !
It has 22 tubes and 5 germanium diodes featuring 35 functions to run the receiver.
It was an innovative chassis since introduces the use of the PC88 tube to obtain good noise to signal aspect ratios and further improvements with 2 diode for demod stage and more.
The sound output stage is realized with a PL84 to power up to 6 watts of sound in 2 ways.
Line deflection output stage have a PL36 TUBE (TELEFUNKEN)
The NORDMENDE CHASSIS 5792X is completely hand wired and it's divided in 2 main sections:
- Left side all signal circuits.
- Right side all deflection circuits and EHT.
The 2 sections are middle interconnected by wirings.
All circuits are completely TUBES based.
NOTE: The UHF TUNER was after time added on the chassis and it's not a part of the original which is only VHF CHANNELS RECEIVER CAPABLE.
