The PHONOLA (FIMI) MOD. TT1296 is a 12 inches B/w portable television set with VHF and UHF tuning channels selectors.
Power supply may be obtained from mains or a 12volt supply.Recently, it has become more popular than ever to watch TV in a car as the number of cars increases. In general, a storage battery of 12 volts is used in small cars while one of 24 volts is used in large cars so that there is a disadvantage that a separate power supply device is required for driving a TV set in compliance with the respective battery used in the car. The present invention relates to a power supply circuit of a television receiver used in an automobile, and in particular to a power supply circuit of a television receiver which enables two different voltages from two kinds of supply respectively mains at 220v and dc 12v.
This is the last set originally produced by FIMI PHONOLA before transition to PHILIPS.

Founded in 1929 as Phonola - Società Anonima FIMI (Fabbrica Italiana Materiali Isolanti); Saronno - Milano begun his activity which stopped due to 2nd WOLD WAR.
In 1945 they reprise the production of radio and Television.
in 1969 Phonola was acquired by Philips, later Phonola models are Philips clones

Its products address a wide spectrum of medical applications ranging from Patient Monitoring to Medical Imaging (such as Ultrasound, Radiography, Magnetic Resonance, Computed Tomography, Surgery ) and to mobile Point of Care.
In the 90's was aquired from the group of Seleco and toghether they went to another Industry group called Formenti.
All these went to failing (Obviously) and they were aquired from SUPER/FLUO in 2006 which even failed in 2009, was dropped to a new society called SELEK TECHNOLOGY founded in 2010.
